NDIS Registration Group 0136: Group and Centre-Based Activities
This service is funded under your NDIS Core Supports budget. It allows you to utilize your funding to join structured group environments, center-based programs, and collaborative community workshops.
Our approach follows a strength-based model: we design group dynamics that celebrate individual abilities, allowing you to learn from your peers, share your own unique talents, and build social confidence at a pace that feels completely natural and supportive to you.

Creative & Interactive Workshops: Discovering Your Inner Talents
Our centre-based programs offer a rotating schedule of hands-on, creative workshops designed to stimulate your mind and spark joy:
- Arts, Crafts & Design: Exploring your creativity through painting, pottery, seasonal crafting, and collaborative group murals.
- Music, Dance & Drama: Engaging in music therapy, group sing-alongs, rhythm workshops, and light movement or drama games.
- Technology & Digital Media: Learning basic computer skills, safe internet navigation, gaming sessions, or creative digital photography.

Life Skills & Independence Programs: Practical Tools for Daily Living
Group settings provide a fantastic, low-pressure environment to develop practical skills that you can take home to your everyday life:
- Interactive Cooking Classes: Learning to read recipes, safely use kitchen appliances, prepare healthy meals, and enjoy a group lunch together.
- Money Management & Budgeting: Fun, practical group games that teach numeracy, handling cash, and planning grocery budgets.
- Health & Wellness Sessions: Participating in group yoga, gentle stretching, mindfulness, and learning about nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices.

Social Clubs & Peer Events: Building an Active Circle of Friends
A core focus of our centre activities is creating genuine human connections. We host regular social events that help turn classmates into lifelong friends:
- Trivia & Board Game Tournaments: Friendly, collaborative team challenges that foster communication, strategy, and teamwork.
- Themed Celebration Days: Hosting inclusive parties and events for birthdays, cultural holidays, and community achievements.
- Peer Support Discussion Groups: Safe, guided circles where participants can talk about their goals, share life experiences, and encourage one another.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, absolutely! We highly encourage a “Meet and Greet” or a trial session. You can visit our facility, meet our staff, see what activities are running, and chat with other participants to make sure it feels like the perfect fit for you.
We offer flexible ratios based entirely on your funding and care needs, ranging from standard group ratios (like 1:3 or 1:4) up to high-intensity 1:1 support within the group setting if you require dedicated physical or behavioral assistance.
Safety is our top priority. Before you join any food-related workshops, our coordinators log all food allergies, intolerances, and specific texture requirements (e.g., modified or pureed diets) to ensure our kitchen environments remain completely safe for you.
Definitely. Many of our participants use a hybrid model—for example, utilizing our Assist-Personal Activities support for their morning home routines, and then joining our Group/Centre Activities for the middle of the day. We can seamlessly tailor a schedule that covers both.
